On May 25th, BUILD UP hosted the webinar “Digital Tools for Workflow Management”, the third in the ongoing COGITO project webinar series called “Practical Tools for the Construction Sector in Digital Twin”. The aim of the series was to presented COGITO Digital Construction (version 4.0) and gather important feedback from the audience.
The webinar had two main parts. It began with a brief welcome and introduction from BUILD UP, followed by a presentation from Dr Frédéric Bosché, Reader in Construction Informatics in the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. The second part of the webinar was focused on digital tools for workflow management, and included four presentations accompanied by demonstration videos.
The demonstrations began with the Process Modelling and Simulation (PMS) toolkit, presented by Damiano Falcioni, Senior Researcher at BOC-AG. The second demonstration was presented by Ing. Martin Straka, Technical Manager at Novitech Group who presented the Work Order Definition and Monitoring (WODM) tool. After the presentation from our colleague the participants listened the presentation from Dr Panagiotis Moraitis, Project Manager at QUE Technologies who discussed the Service Level Agreement Manager (SLA Manager) and Blockchain and Smart Contract (BCSC) platform. Lastly, our colleague Ing. Martin Straka also presented our work in COGITO Project, this time demonstrating the Work Order Execution Assistance (WOEA) tool.
